The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the Railway Industry and be able to work well under pressure. The position entails working flex shifts and being available for overtime and 10 hour days.
Duties include but are not limited to;
-Conducting safety meetings and activities
-Documenting safety incidents and following up with investigations where required
-Fostering positive relations with local union officials
-Supporting lean philosophy and principles
-Coordinate with Field Operations to ensure Local Service Operating Plan targets are met
-Direct road repair on the territory
-Ensure repairs and train servicing are in compliance with Company standards
-Working directly with employees in the shop and yard

-Performance Incentive Program (Annual bonuses of up to 10% of salary)
-Annual Fitness Subsidy
-All new hires will be required to complete a pre-employment medical evaluation that includes vision, hearing, drug screening and pre-employment physical
-The chosen candidate will need to successfully complete a criminal history check
-Proficient knowledge of railway operations
-Working knowledge of railway systems and computer operations
-Familiarity with union environments
-Must be able to work with wide variety of employees
