UNDP is the UN’s global development network, an organization advocating for change and connecting countries to knowledge, experience and resources to help build nations that can withstand crisis, and drive and sustain the kind of growth that improves the quality of life for everyone. UNDP works in nearly 170 countries and territories, helping to achieve the eradication of poverty, and the reduction of inequalities and exclusion. We help countries to develop policies, leadership skills, partnering abilities, institutional capabilities and build resilience in order to sustain development results.
In April 2018, UNDP launched an innovative undertaking to validate new forms of partnership and programming with the private sector through which significant financing can be leveraged for achievement of the Strategic Plan 2018-2021 and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Our team is working on a new initiative to: a) extend the reach of UNDP’s thought leadership with governments, academia and private sector, b) support UNDP’s employees to create social media platforms to engage with governments, academia and private sector
c) engage and empower employees to become brand ambassadors – to share corporate vision, values, brand content and global stories on their own social networks, d) drive awareness of the corporate brand and e) encourage employee advocacy on a companywide level.
