Working within our Nu-Futures contract, we have an opportunity for 3 Partnership Engagement Co-ordinators to join the team covering Cannock, Staffordshire and Tamworth. The main purpose of the contract will be to engage with and support young people aged 15 – 24 into sustainable employment, apprenticeships, education or traineeships.
About the Role:
As a Partnership Engagement Co-ordinator you will effectively engage with young participants to encourage and support them into employment or education. You will achieve this through local outreach attraction and engagement by planning and developing outreach activities enabling to form key relationships. As well as actively engaging with clients to maximise contract performance through the effective promotion and marketing of Nu Futures contract.
This is a busy and varied role which will require you to use all of your proven skills and behaviours to provide engage young people and key stakeholders. Working within a fast-paced, results driven and rewarding environment, no two days will be the same.
As this role is peripatetic a full clean driving licence would be advantageous. Successful candidates must be able to travel across regions and adopt a flexible approach in line with key stakeholders and supporting business and client needs, i.e you may be required to work the occasional weekend and evening.
Locations: Cannock, Staffordshire and Tamworth.
As well as an upbeat, can-do attitude and a passion to positively impact young lives, you will also be a motivational individual who can demonstrate a robust knowledge of employment, social and economic issues that young people face.
You will have some experience of working within employability, education and employer job support, coupled with a sound understanding of outreach and partnership engagement to support young people.
You will also be able to demonstrate the following skills in addition to the relevant job description requirements;
- Exceptional communication skills
- Excellent written and spoken English
- High standards of customer service and professional manner
- Confident with IT packages, specifically Excel, Word and Outlook
- Great attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise own workload and manage own time
